Blackboy Inn

Bloxham Village Museum

Next door to the Church in Bloxham stands the Old Court House, the ground floor of which has been the Village Museum for the past thirty years. Bloxham Village Museum prides itself on having a different exhibition every year, which includes items from a huge range of artefacts.

This year's exhibition is called A - Z of Bloxham and there are items covering every letter in the alphabet apart from X. Inside the museum is a little cottage which features a former Doctor of Bloxham who held his surgery in one of the local pubs. Beside him sits a jug of medicine which he dispensed for anything from an ear ache to in - growing toenails.

Just five minutes from The Black Boy Inn, this museum is a great day out for the whole family. Just 50p entry fee for adults and 10p for children (which includes a quiz).

Group visits are available upon request and these must be booked in advance.
